Everything promoters, festival programmers and venue bookers need to plan a MUS3 performance, including flexible show formats, stage and technical requirements, backline options, production timings and contact information.

Flexible show formats

MUS3 can tailor the performance to suit the event, from a focused 30-minute festival appearance to a full two-hour headline show. The running time and set format are agreed in advance with the promoter.

The repertoire combines Muse’s best-known anthems with heavier live tracks and fan favourites. This allows the band to shape the set for a broad festival audience, a dedicated tribute night or an established rock venue.

Stage and production requirements

MUS3 require a minimum clear stage area of 6 metres wide by 4 metres deep. The band do not travel with a dedicated stage engineer, so appropriate technical support must be provided by the venue or event production team.

For more complex theatre and headline shows where MUS3 install their own lighting production, access is normally required six hours before the performance for load-in, setup and soundcheck.

At festivals where the stage, sound and lighting production are already in place, the band can work to a load-in and changeover time of approximately 20 minutes.

Backline and power

MUS3 can provide a full backline when requested. The band can also perform using suitable backline supplied by the venue or production company, as is customary at many festivals. All equipment arrangements should be agreed in advance.

A minimum of four 13-amp power supplies is required, with outlets available both downstage and upstage. Power must be safely distributed and suitable for professional stage use.

Dressing room and hospitality

A secure dressing room should be available for the band, together with six 500ml bottles of still mineral water.
